Under Michael’s teaching, our son was introduced to both the acoustic and classical guitar. Mr. Good was my one and only guitar teacher. However, I have taken music from many other teachers for other instruments. I have not had a better music teacher. Honestly, he has a good way with his students and is very insightful in what is needed in each individual’s guitar practice and lesson times. Each lesson is made to fit the need of the student, not the student to fit the teacher. He gives just the right amount of challenge, and just the right amount of support so that the student may thrive. Not to mention, he came to our house.
I have known Michael for quite a few years and he offers a vast and abundant knowledge of the guitar world. His patience is unparalleled and he knows what works best for each individual. This makes him a one of a kind guitar teacher.
Aside from all of these qualities, Michael is one of the few teachers that also knows the classical guitar luthiers and many other aspects of the classical guitar. This makes learning the guitar a lot easier and more enjoyable. Also, this is a great advantage when recommending a guitar to a student. He will be able to advise you in selecting a guitar that both sounds good and is easy to play.
